Most people think diving in college is only for a select few. Sure Division I scholarships are hard to come by, but it's not out of reach of somebody with the proper work ethic. There are many divisions in NCAA diving that fit the needs for almost any type of potential student athlete. Here at Pomona– Pitzer Colleges, I allow divers with no experience to see if diving is for them.Most college programs are excited to have potential student athletes as long as they contribute to the workout rather than subtract. Here is a link to wikipedia's list of colleges that have springboard and or platform diving program. Take a few moments to see if there are any schools that may be of interest to you.
